The Christmas Lights will turn on bright at Lilium after Munich-based MUC Mobile Uplift Corporation GmbH agreed to purchase the operating assets of the subsidiaries Lilium GmbH and Lilium eAircraft GmbH.

In this asset purchase agreement which is planned to close in early January 2025, the subsidiaries will have the financial resources to continue their business operations.  The funds from the asset sale of the subsidiaries will not be transferred to Lilium N.V. and rather be distributed under German Insolvency Law.

We are very pleased to announce the signing of an investment agreement with a very experienced consortium of investors, which is a major breakthrough. Deal closing at the beginning of January will allow us to restart our business. – Lilium CEO Klaus Roewe

The KPMG guided Merger and Acquisition process resulted in talks and negotiations with potential investors that have expressed interested in the assets of the Lilium subsidiaries. MUC Mobile Uplift Corporation GmbH being the purchaser of these assets, will bring a bright future for the coming new year and beyond. Mobile Uplift Corporation GmbH plans to “immediately” employ the remaining Lilium employees whose contracts were terminated under the requirements of German law, once the transaction has been closed.

Registered in November 2024, MUC Mobile Uplift Corporation GmbH is an investment consortium with leaders from across Europe and North America.
