Archer Aviation<\/strong> (NYSE: ACHR<\/strong>) will now be able to train and qualify pilots at is new training academy since it received its Part 141 certificate<\/strong> from the FAA. The Part 141 certification, will come in handy along with the Part 142 certification that Archer has currently applied for to enable Archer to proceed with its air taxi services. In addition to the Part 141 certification, Archer also holds a\u00a0Part 135 (Air Carrier & Operator) Certificate\u00a0and a\u00a0Part 145 (Repair Station Operators) certificate.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 141 certification was presented to Archer Aviation by the FAA Manager at the San Jose Flight Standards District Office Thom Holden,<\/strong> and David Pease<\/strong>, who is an FAA Aviation Safety Inspector during a ceremony at Archer\u2019s flight test facility in Salinas, CA. The certificate was accepted on Archer’s behalf by the Chief Operating Officer of UAM, Tom Anderson<\/strong>, and the Chief People Officer, Tosha Perkins<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This accomplishment of receiving Part 141 certification comes at a time of great success for Archer Aviation which has recently received $300 million<\/strong> in capital from the creation and sale of stock, in which a significant part of the capital raised came from BlackRock<\/strong>-managed funds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
