XTI had plans beginning in 2017 to create a propulsion system making use of a turbogenerator with battery-powered electric motors. As of 2024 this plan has been put on hold as the the hybrid-electric technology isn’t considered by XTI to be ready for the TriFan 600. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
